Sometimes we're just too close to what we do.
Sometimes we need someone else to bring to our attention when we're using jargon.
Sometimes that happens to me.
This was one of those sometimes.
I had someone recently say "What are talking about when you say short form vs long form?"
And it hit me: I've been using language that most people don't understand.
So today's the day to clarify that.
